Aww, Crys, how awful.
If you’re stuck at home, that’s the perfect time to do research. Think of things that interest you and google away. In old news reports, histories, and folktales/legends there are seeds of new stories waiting to take root in your brain! (Like fanciful blood-red roses, right?)

Man that sucks. Last fall my stepdad fell off a building and cracked a bone in his foot. Had a cast like they gave you but that very weekend I had to drive him to Nebraska to work. He didn’t follow the advice to rest and it still aches a bit sometimes now.

I hope you heal fast and do well. Even if you don’t write, it’s okay. Sometimes it’s just not the right time. I’m sure you’ll find your mojo again.
